What's the Story?
WANDER OVER YONDER is an intergalactic adventure cartoon about a chipper space traveler named Wander (voiced by Jack McBrayer), who visits different planets with his trusty steed Sylvia (April Winchell) to spread fun and joy among the residents. Often his travels bring encounters with Lord Hater (Keith Ferguson), the universe's supreme villain bent on dominating the masses with his army of Watchdogs and right-hand man, Commander Peepers (Tom Kenny).
Is It Any Good?
Emmy winner Craig McCracken (The Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) introduces a new cast of comical characters in Wander Over Yonder. It's a show that's very comfortable in its role and doesn't try too hard; instead, it generates laughs in opposing personalities, nonstop action, and silly scenarios, all of which will appeal to kids.
By far the show's greatest asset is the lovable yokel, Wander, whose unwavering positive attitude in the face of Hater's impatience will amuse older viewers as well.
