The Championships welcome eight high performing nations from across the world, competing against each other in an enthralling mixed team tournament.

British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) as the National University Sport Federdation (NUSF) within international university sport, sanctions the participation of GB Students on behalf of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in association with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
GB Students has a rich history of participation at Master'U BNP Paribas with a number of well-known professional tennis players having performed at the Championships including Alicia Barnett and Olivia Nicholls winning a bronze medal at the Master'U BNP Paribas in 2016, with Nicholls going on to win a bronze medal in the doubles at the World University Games in Taipai the following year. Jonny O’Mara won Gold in Lille in 2017, along with Maia Lumsden winning gold in Lille (2017) and silver (2018 and 2019).
O’Mara and Nicholls reached the semi-final of the mixed doubles event at Wimbledon this year, whilst Maia Lumsden reached the quarter-final of the Ladies Doubles.
GB Students has won six medals in a row for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Championships and eleven consecutive medals at major international university events including the Summer World University Games.
