Released in 1982 after three years' work, it features a soundtrack written by Debbie Harry, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Cheap Trick and Earth Wind and Fire.


It's a story of a post-apocalyptic race of human mutants fighting between good and evil and is out for the first time on DVD having been remastered with Dolby 5.1 sound.

The 175-minute two disc special edition includes a sketch gallery and director commentary.

The antithesis of Disney, and flawed but ahead of its time, Rock & Rule will surprise and delight anyone whose combined interests include graphic novels, animated films and rock music.
