Taylor Swift Announces ‘Lover Fest’ at NFL Stadiums, European Tour Dates
Swifties rejoice! Taylor announced the first dates on her upcoming "Lover" tour on Tuesday (Sept. 17), which will kick off on June 20 in Belgium.
Taylor Swift finally announced some Lover tour dates on Tuesday (Sept. 17).
Dubbed “Lover Fest West” and “Lover Fest East,” the two-night stadium stands are being tagged as her only U.S. dates in 2020. And, in true Taylor fashion, she will blaze a trail by being the first woman in history to open an NFL stadium, when she becomes the inaugrual artist to perform at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on July 25 and 26.
Swift will also play two nights at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on July 31 and Aug. 1; opening acts for the U.S. shows will be announced soon. Existing Taylor Swift Tix Verified Fans will have the chance to RSVP starting today for Preferred Presale Access here.
The public on-sale for the shows is Oct. 14, 2019, with registration for new Verified Fans opening on Thurdsay (Sept. 19) at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT. Swift tweeted out her excitement about the outing, writing, “The Lover album is open fields, sunsets + SUMMER. I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven’t been and play festivals. Where we didn’t have festivals, we made some.”
