Another villain is planning to take control of Starling City.
“Justified” and “Captain America: The First Avenger” alum Neal McDonough has been cast in “Arrow” as Damien Darhk for season four of CW’s superhero drama. An adversary of the late Ra’s Al Ghul (Matt Nable), who met his end last season, this character has now become the leader of his own clandestine group — making him one of the greatest challenges for Arrow (Stephen Amell). But it’s unclear how long he’ll be sticking around, as sources say McDonough will only be making “special appearances” this season.
“Arrow” returns at 8 p.m. Oct. 7. In addition to Amell, the series’ cast includes Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, with John Barrowman and Paul Blackthorne. It is exec produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Wendy Mericle and Sarah Schechter and produced by Bonanza Productions in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The series is based on the characters from DC Comics.
