ALM – as referred to in court documents – is a Navajo and Cherokee toddler. When he was a baby, a white couple from the suburbs of Dallas wanted to adopt him, but a federal law said they couldn’t. So they sued. Today, the lawsuit doesn’t just impact the future of one child, or even the future of one law. It threatens the entire legal structure defending Native American rights. The fact that Indigenous people are so heavily discriminated against in their homeland is atrocious. I would recommend this podcast to everyone and anyone who wants to hear social justice struggles told in a compelling way. Season 3 please Ms.Nagle!

Unprofessional host - needs polish but a story worth telling

The host’s snarky opinions and views are not well hidden during the podcast. The pod would be a better listen with a professional tone allowing the listener to hear the facts with an unbiased perspective so we can make up our minds. The topic is important and worthy of discussion and attention.
I wish this were required listening in all schools!
