I’m so grateful to David Ridgen and his team for making this podcast the best there is. I look forward to every season and I’m amazed at how well he does his job with a genuine compassion for victim’s families and the unparalleled journalism that goes into every episode. I know this job must take a toll on you and your team so thank you!
Slow Narration, Good Podcast

If you are finding the painfully slow narration pace unbearable like me, but enjoy the storyline try listening at 1.25x
Sounds are annoying
I’m starting on season 1 and it was good until the later episode where ALL you hear are bells from the search dogs. It’s unbearable, literally had to skip chunks of the episode. This is a podcast, you’d think maybe they’d understand SOUNDS are the main component. I’m so irritated right now, it’s the opposite thing you want from a podcast. Will try newer seasons, maybe they learned.
Fake reviews
Nov 18
After one negative or honest review, several five star reviews rapidly come. They each name the host and praise the podcast in superlative terms. I wish Apple would catch this dishonest practice. The show is using these dishonest practices to stand out and enjoys that spotlight over other more honest podcasts that might otherwise get noticed.
