I love being able to listen to BBC Radio 1 and R1 Dance live from the USA. However, since the July 2024 updates playback, especially on those shows close to expiry, has been a hassle. I have also never been able to download shows through the app for times of no wireless connectivity. The developers do NOT seem interested on reaching out regarding these issues or low app rating, signaling that they do not care.

Aside from the content, which is more than enough to select from, and all top-quality, the mechanics of the app are very intuitive, seamlessly 'saving your place' across episodes and devices. The sound quality, possible through adaptive stream rates, really shines through, particularly on good sound systems. Further, the search feature is especially useful by either news and current affairs, spoken word, Presenter, or music genre. Thank you on opening up BBC Sounds for global listeners!

(2023/06/08) App is not staying signed in. When signing in, it takes user to a browser page. Once singed in, error message, "Sorry, the page you are looking for cannot be found! Click here to return to BBC Sounds." User gets sent in circles between signing in, the error message, and back again. Not sure what has happened since your update, but it's really messed up the app and makes for a much less than enjoyable experience.
