Former WWE Superstar Bill DeMott has called on the company to remove Sunny from the Hall Of Fame as a result of her ongoing legal battles.
It was recently reported that Sunny – real name Tammy Sytch – was arrested at a hotel in Ormond Beach, Florida, and is facing nine charges in relation to a three-car collision that resulted in the death of 75-year-old Julian Lafrancis Lasseter Jr. Those charges include DUI manslaughter, driving with a suspended or revoked license causing death or serious injury, as well as seven counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property.
A press release that followed her arrest confirmed that Sytch was three times over the legal alcohol limit at the time of the crash.
Now former WCW and WWE star Bill DeMott has called for Tammy Sytch to be removed from the WWE Hall Of Fame on social media. DeMott’s daughter Keri Anne DeMott was tragically killed by a drunk driver back in 2016:
“When do we start holding people #accountable BEFORE they kill themselves or someone else? When do we decide as law makers and judges that we DO NOT get to decide who should and shouldn’t be punished? When do organizations speak up for EVERYONE not just influential cases? #WHEN“

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also commented on DeMott’s campaign for Sytch to be held to proper account for her actions:
“Bill DeMott is among other things I guess trying to get WWE to remove her from the Hall Of Fame. That’s a subject that is very close to Bill DeMott because of his daughter dying as a result of a drunk driver about seven years ago and there’s a foundation in her name and he’s a big part of that foundation, trying to basically keep drunk drivers off the road.”
