- True passion for the LEGO brick and Minifigure really took
off when Classic Space arrived in the Netherlands in 1979!
Since I went online -near the end of the last century- I've
collected practically every Space theme set, almost every
Space Shuttle LEGO model, most sets that are inspired by
real life space exploration programs and even sets from
other themes that are related one way or another to space
exploration... Yes, you might say I'm a real sucker for
Space exploration and science fiction! So when LEGO Star
Wars was introduced in 1999 my LEGO collecting habits really
started to go through the roof! I'm also a petrol head, so I
collect some Speed Champions and certain Creator Expert
vehicles. Besides that I like themes like Adventurers and
Indiana Jones, anything with dinosaurs, Aquazone, Divers,
Arctic, some Batman, some Marvel Avengers, Ghostbusters,
BTTF, The LEGO Movies & LEGO Ninjago Movie plus the regular
CMF series. And together with my son I've also started to
collect some Architecture sets, Creator Expert fairground/
theme park sets plus some regular CITY sets, a couple of
LEGO trains and Creator sets. However, the theme
that both my son and I are real fans of is Minecraft! It may
look very basic at first sight, until you've build a couple
of MC sets... In comparison to the game these sets are
actually brilliant! I'm not a Castle fan (except for the
original yellow castle) and I no longer collect the modern
Technic lines. Yes, the Harry Potter sets look great and so
do some of the Technic sets! However, as is with most LEGO
collectors, my wallet, my storage, building and display room
only go so far. I certainly can't complain though! - Contact:
