TNA: The History of Lethal Lockdown, the Most Violent Match in Pro Wrestling
Lockdown is the home of the most barbaric match in professional wrestling today, Lethal Lockdown.
There have been nine Lethal Lockdown matches in TNA since 2005. There has also been a Lethal Lockdown match at No Surrender 2009 and Bound for Glory 2010.
There have been countless amounts of blood, sweat and tears in the ring during—and after—a Lethal Lockdown match. It's that time of year again. The Lethal Lockdown will engulf eight men to do battle, scarring them and potentially shortening their careers.

Here is the history of Satan's true playpen.
Lockdown 2005: Orlando, Florida
In the debut of the Lethal Lockdown match, Sean Waltman, Diamond Dallas Page and B.G. James defeated Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown and the Outlaw.
Lockdown 2006: Orlando, Florida
The Lockdown in 2006 pitted Sting's Warriors versus Jarrett's Army.
Sting's Warriors consisted of the captain Sting, AJ Styles, Rhino and Ron "The Truth" Killings.
Captain Jeff Jarrett recruited Scott Steiner and America's Most Wanted, James Storm and Chris Harris, to do war in the Lethal Lockdown match.
The Warriors overcame Jarrett's Army and got the victory.
Lockdown 2007: Saint Charles, Missouri
"Every war ends in the cage."
Lockdown 2007 was the first year the Lethal Lockdown match would have a five-on-five match rather, than a four-on-four as in past years.
Team Angle vs. Team Cage

Team Cage: Captain Christian Cage, AJ Styles, Scott Steiner, Abyss, Tomko
Angle and his team would leave as the winners.

Lockdown 2008 was the last time there was a five-on-five Lethal Lockdown match. The captains of the match were Christian Cage, and Tomko was the captain of the opposing team.

Team Jarrett: Captain Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels
As I said, Lockdown 2009 was the decline of MEM. They lost this match and Sting lost his world-title match.
No Surrender 2009: Orlando, Florida
This was the first time the Lethal Lockdown match was used outside of the Lockdown pay-per-view. The match had Team 3D and Beer Money vs. the British Invasion and Booker T and Scott Steiner.
Team 3D and Beer Money walked away victorious.
Lockdown 2010: St. Louis, Missouri

Team Hogan: Captain Abyss, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Jeff Jarrett
Team Flair: Captain Sting, Desmond Wolfe, Robert Roode, James Storm
Flair inserted himself into Satan's Structure to help his team. Hulk Hogan would come out and beat the hell out of Flair. Flair fell hard in a pile of tacks and Abyss hit a Blackhole Slam on Wolfe for the win. Hogan stays.
Bound For Glory 2010: Daytona Beach, Florida
Fortune, while they were linked to Immortal, did battle against Tommy Dreamer's EV2.0. This is the first and only Lethal Lockdown at Bound For Glory. It was five-on-five.
