4 Tasteful experience (Marieke)Reception by the owner with a fresh and tasteful aperitivo, a glass of spumante. After that down to the cellar to see the silos in which the grapes mature. Danilo let us taste 3 stadium of wine making. Insightful. Then back upstairs to find a table with 5 glasses, water and gran pardano with bread. The wines were, to be completely honest, very good and totally different from each other. Danilo was a great host. Of course we bought some bottles of wine, took a few pictures of the vineyard with exceptional view and went on our way to visit the village. Great afternoon!

4 Great visit to Tenuta Mattei (Caroline)We had a great visit to this vineyard. Welcome was warm and friendly and we were able to sample a great selection of their wines, accompanied by a very generous selection of cheese, salami and bread. There is a restaurant on site where we could have had a full lunch but snacks had filled us up! Only dropped one star as we had requested a tour in English (4 of us English, my husband is Italian). The guide was only able to guide us in Italian so my husband had to act as interpreter which was fine but not very relaxing for him! Well worth a visit however and we will be back.

5 Lovely Experience (Owen)Me and my partner arrived and the family could not be more welcoming. The sons of the owner were learning English in school and could not be more accommodating when helping us understand things. I can not praise the wine enough, and it was complimented by a lovely cold meats board! The hosts were both informative and personable and made us feel instantly comfortable. We left with 2 bottles of wine and having had a lovely experience where we made special memories. Thankyou to the family what a lovely group of people and what a lovely home.

5 AMAZING and authentic experience!! (Rachel)We visited Fattoria Lucesole while visiting Ancona, and it was the highlight of our time there, and even a highlight from our entire Italy trip. Here we got to explore where the grapes are grown and where the wine is made. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the wine and able to teach us so much about each wine we tasted. These were some of the most genuine and kind people I have ever met and they made this experience unforgettable!! Thank you so much!!

He welcomed us by showing us the estate from the outside to the inside, telling us everything from its history to how the wine is produced. We concluded the experience by tasting the 5 glasses of wine. We loved all the types, pairing them with the local food, which was also delicious. Furthermore, not to be underestimated, he welcomed our medium-sized little dog without any problem.
