State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Vermont by:
- The Vermont Board of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Vermont Office of Professional Regulation accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Vermont Office of Professional Regulation accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Vermont Office of Professional Regulation accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
60 hours every two years, 24 of which may be completed by home study.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 20 hours every 2 years.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 40 hours every 2 years.
Social Worker
LISCW: 20 hours every 2 years, with 1.5 in ethics.
LMSW: 10 hours every 2 years, with 1.5 in ethics.
