State Requirements
Psychotherapy.net is an approved CE provider for the state of Tennessee by:
- The Tennessee Board of Examiners of Psychology accepts courses from any provider who is APA approved.
- The Board for Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marital and Family Therapists, and Licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapists accepts courses from any provider who is NBCC and/or NAADAC approved.
- The Board for Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marital and Family Therapists, and Licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapists accepts courses from any provider who is APA and/or NBCC approved.
- The Board of Social Work Certification and Licensure accepts courses approved by ASWB ACE.
License Requirements
Psychologists
40 hours every 2 years.
Marriage and Family Therapy
MFT: 10 hours every year.
Licensed Professional Counselor
LPC: 10 hours every year.
Social Worker
LBSW: 18 hours every 2 years, with 6 hours of ethics.
