Until now the process looked familiar to most armies: Units → submit requests → headquarters consolidates demand for specific models→ procurement begins. In reality this often created what soldiers call a “zoo of solutions.” Different standards. And sometimes systems that perform poorly in real combat. The new model flips the logic. Demand will be formed automatically based on real battlefield performance. Here is how it works: The General Staff formulates procurement requirements based on technical parameters rather than specific models. Data from systems like Misson Control, DOT-Chain Defense, e-Points and Brave1 Market automatically match technical requirements with top products based on battlefield performance. In simple terms: The battlefield generates the data. The data generates demand. If a drone proves effective — demand increases. If it doesn’t — the system simply stops requesting it. What a ₹40 Lakh Saving Taught Me About Ego I was 31. I had just closed the biggest negotiation of my career. ₹40 lakh in annual savings. New supplier. Great specs. Competitive price. I walked into my manager's office like I'd won a World Cup. He looked at the paperwork. Then at me. "Did you visit their plant?" "No. But I have their ISO certificate and three references." "Did you run a trial batch?" "Not yet. But their samples passed." "Did you stress-test their capacity against your peak demand?" Silence. Six months later, the new supplier failed. While isolation and activation reagents are process-defining and hard to replace, cytokines and media can often be sourced from alternate vendors without compromising product quality. Here's how to establish a qualified backup vendor for these ancillary materials: 𝟭. 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 Not all GMP materials are created equal. Consider running small-scale or non-GMP pilot batches to confirm that switching inputs does not compromise product integrity. 𝟯.
