Exciting Update for Structural Engineers! Great news for professionals involved in foundation design using Eurocodes. The newly released STAAD Foundation Advanced 2026 now supports foundation analysis and design as per Eurocode 2 (EN 1992-1-1:2004)—further expanding its capabilities beyond the existing support for ACI 318 (2014 & 2019) and IS 456:2000. 🔍 What’s different in this Eurocode 2 implementation? ✅ Optional bearing and sliding checks aligned with Eurocode 7 (EN 1997-1:2004) ✅ Optional automated soil bearing capacity calculations based on input soil properties, following Annex D of Eurocode 7 ✅ Comprehensive analysis, stability, and design reports—both detailed and summary formats This enhancement brings greater flexibility and global applicability to foundation design workflows—especially for projects aligned with European standards.
