Cross-border growth starts with the right payments' infrastructure. As Kapital Grupo Financiero expanded into a full-service financial institution, its enterprise clients needed seamless international payments and FX capabilities. By partnering with Corpay Cross-Border through Mastercard, Kapital built a scalable solution that: ✅ Supports payments across Mexico, the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Southeast Asia. ✅ Preserves existing client workflows. ✅ Is scaling approximately 8,000+ cross-border payments per month. • For years, the conversation in payments was: 👉 “How do we build faster rails?” Now it’s changed to: 👉 “How do we connect and orchestrate across them?” With real-time systems live in many markets, the next phase of money movement is about interoperability. Here’s what’s driving it: 🌐 Linking domestic real-time networks across borders ⚙️ Multi-rail orchestration (choosing the best route per transaction) 🔗 APIs enabling seamless connectivity across systems 🧩 Collaboration across banks, fintechs, and platforms What does this mean in practice? Payments are becoming: Route-aware → optimized in real time Data-rich → enabling smarter decisions Flexible → delivered via the best available rail Key shift: 👉 The winner isn’t the fastest rail 👉 It’s the player who can orchestrate all of them Because in a multi-network world: Choice + connectivity = competitive advantage #MastercardMove #MoneyMovement #B2BPayments #PaymentInfrastructure #CrossBorderPayments #DigitalEconomy

Fleet is one of Europe’s biggest commercial payment opportunities, and one of the most exciting areas of change. Across the EU, there are around 249 million cars, 30 million vans, 6 million trucks and 680,000 buses on the road. Behind every journey sits a complex set of payments across fuel, tolls, parking, maintenance, cross-border travel and increasingly, EV charging. For businesses, this is no longer just a fleet management challenge. It is a payments, data and control challenge. At Mastercard, we see fleet as an important frontier for commercial payments. As mobility becomes more digital, electric and connected, the opportunity is to help businesses simplify operations, improve visibility and unlock more value across the full mobility journey. In the first episode of What’s next for commercial payments?, I sit down with Mark Aquilina to discuss what is changing in fleet, the pressures operators are facing, and how smarter payment solutions can help. Watch or listen to the full conversation, and I'd love to hear your thoughts: https://lnkd.in/eAGcPGq8 #Fleet #Payments #Technology #BusinessGrowth #Operations #B2B #Efficiency

Excited to welcome BVNK to Mastercard and build on the vision that Jorn Lambert shared today.   One thing I hear consistently from banks, fintechs and payment providers is that they want faster, more efficient ways to move money globally without taking on more complexity. As stablecoins become part of real-world cross-border payments, payouts, settlement and treasury flows, the need to connect digital and traditional ecosystems is only growing.   That's what makes BVNK such a strong fit for Mastercard Move. By combining BVNK's stablecoin-native infrastructure with Mastercard Move’s global reach across 200 markets and 150 currencies, we have an opportunity to help customers move value more seamlessly across borders, currencies and payment systems.   For Mastercard Move customers, this means greater reach, more flexibility and new ways to connect fiat and digital forms of money through infrastructure they already know and trust. The goal is simple: more capability, more choice and a better money movement experience, without added complexity.

Today marks an important milestone: Mastercard has completed its acquisition of BVNK. But this is bigger than a transaction. A new payment paradigm is emerging. Stablecoins, tokenized deposits and other digital forms of value are moving into real-world payments, payouts, settlement and treasury flows. In a multi-money world, the challenge is no longer creating more isolated rails. It is connecting them. BVNK has built something truly distinctive — deep stablecoin expertise, strong technology, exceptional talent and a culture of innovation. Combined with Mastercard's global reach, trusted network and decades of experience operating at scale, we have an opportunity to help make new forms of money work alongside existing financial systems and payment networks. The future of money movement will not be defined by one winning rail, asset or protocol. It will be defined by the networks that make them work together. That's what Mastercard and BVNK are building: a network for every form of money. Welcome to the Mastercard family, BVNK.

A multi-money world is emerging — one where fiat, stablecoins, tokenized deposits and other forms of value need to work together. Today, with the completion of our acquisition of BVNK, we're strengthening our ability to connect digital and traditional forms of money through trusted infrastructure built for scale. As a new payments paradigm takes shape, success won't be defined by any single rail, network or form of money. It will be defined by how effectively they work together. https://lnkd.in/eF8PC9HQ

  • What happens when cross-border payments start to think… and act?    We’re quickly moving into an era where AI doesn’t just support payments—it could initiate and optimizes them.    Here’s what the future could look like:    ✅ Payments triggered automatically based on context (not schedules) ✅ Real‑time fraud detection that evolves with every transaction ✅ AI assisting in near real time settlement and liquidity management ✅ Identity verification becoming the new control point    So what changes for financial institutions and payment providers?   👉 The focus could shift from processing transactions… to orchestrating trust.    Because as payments become: Faster → decisions must happen in milliseconds  Smarter → risks shift upstream (identity, intent)  More autonomous → accountability becomes critical    💬 Where do you see AI adding the most value in money movement today: Fraud prevention  Identity & authentication  Treasury optimization  End-to-end automation    #MastercardMove #MoneyMovement #B2BPayments #CrossBorderPayments #DigitalEconomy

Mastercard Move has expanded its partnership with Neema, selecting our infrastructure to power real-time payment capabilities into Israel. As more global financial institutions expand into the Israeli market, they are looking for more than market access, they need the local infrastructure to operate like a domestic player from day one. Through a single API, Neema provides direct connectivity to MASAV, all Israeli banks, 24/7 real-time payments, local Israeli bank accounts, and Request to Pay (A2A) capabilities, eliminating the need to build and maintain local payment infrastructure. This expanded partnership enables Mastercard Move customers to access these capabilities through Neema's infrastructure, helping them launch and scale payment services in Israel faster and more efficiently. This is another step in our mission to make global payments as seamless as local ones. We're excited about what's ahead and look forward to continuing to expand our global payment infrastructure with leading financial institutions and fintechs worldwide. • ISO 20022 is becoming the global standard, but are you actually using the data? Many organizations are still in migration mode—moving richer data without unlocking its value. But ISO 20022 isn’t just a format upgrade. It’s what structured data enables: ✅ Higher straight-through processing (fewer errors, more automation)  ✅ Fewer false positives in sanctions screening  ✅ Faster reconciliation  ✅ Better analytics Why is ROI still unclear? Because value comes from using the data—not just transporting it.    We’re seeing a clear shift: ➡️ Compliance → Efficiency → Innovation    The real opportunity isn’t just cost savings—it’s building smarter, more transparent, data-driven payment experiences that are faster, more secure, and more efficient.     At its core, ISO 20022 is a foundation for more intelligent, resilient money movement. Where are you on the maturity curve?    #MastercardMove #MoneyMovement #ISO20022 #PaymentInfrastructure #CrossBorderPayments
