Hola 7

Hola 7

Life is like a book of many chapters, some chapters are easy, some chapters are difficult, some chapters are rough while some other chapters are smooth. You may be faced with a looming bankruptcy, maybe your married is falling apart or maybe business is not doing well. How do you lead effectively even in difficult times?

Here are seven pointers: Hola 7, seven tips to get you going!

1.    Review your strategy

What is it that is changing and that is not making you change? What is the current climate that you’re facing? When you review you’re your strategy then you can adopt so that you can contextualize and be able to be relevant to the situation that you face.

2.    Overcome your fears

Remember fears can paralyze you, fears can neutralize you, remember to feed your faith and starve your fears.

3.    Over-communicate

In difficult times you must over-communicate don’t under-communicate, make sure that your communication is honest, open and transparent, that’s why we call it: HOT!

4.    Realize lessons to be learnt in difficult times

I have learnt in my personal life, whether it is a marriage that is falling apart, whether you are caught in a nasty love triangle, whether you have been cheating SARS or the receiver of revenue, whatever it is, I have found that it is important to realize, what are lessons that can be learned so that you can move forward.

5.    Improvement opportunity

Its what we call CIP (Continual improvement process). In difficult times what is it that you can continuously do to improve so that you do not repeat the mistakes of the past.

6.    Grow your people

I have found that in difficult times some people may go, you may have to do some cost-cutting but I have learnt it’s a time to grow your people.

7.    In difficult times never give up HOPE

Remember it’s a difficult season but there is value in the valley.

I can, You can, even in difficult times
