2019- Ever thought of Being a Networker??
Times are changing! It's now more important than ever to have a global business and to be in charge of your business. Forty years ago, when I first started in a network marketing company, I thought it was important to build all across my country and I was so glad I did. Locally, a negative radio announcer got a hold of my product and announced it was useless and expensive. Locally my business was decimated for 2 weeks until the public forgot about him, but at the same time, my business was thriving in the rest of Canada. I learned an important lesson at that time to grow your business in as many areas as you could. Now it's important to grow it globally and it couldn't be a better time to get into the network marketing industry. And here are the reasons.
The global economy is shaky. Currencies are in question and if you are from a country where your currency is not thriving, it is a great idea to join a company from a stronger economy. That way, you are certain to get paid and in a strong currency. Factors that affect the economy are political, cultural, social and legal. Interesting enough, when the economy is in a down spin, network marketing increases and does well. People turn to it as a Plan B for extra cash to supplement their day job or as a Plan A for full time employment. I have seen many people take on an extra job, only to find they have to pay it all back in income tax. With your own business, you can write off a lot of income that you can't with a job.
Why is the economy shaky? China is already starting to cool down and there are may reasons for it.The world order is changing. Generation Z, those born after 1997, is now entering the workforce: they are about 1/5th of it already! Right now they are larger than the millennials.They are abut 1/3 of the population and they have a work ethic. They want to make a change in the world and they have the right attitude. They care about the suffering in the world and want to take action to correct it. They would be excellent candidates for the network marketing industry because that industry cares about their people, helping each other to success., rather than being competitive in the workplace.
Jobs are changing. Artificial intelligence is moving in and will eventually replace many jobs as we know them. In fact, this will affect women's jobs more than men's since women often have more routine jobs than the other sex and can be more easily replaced by robots. Did you know that more women are hugely successful in network marketing and they occupy more of the industry than men? I believe it's because women love to nurture and tend to help their teams succeed. It seems to come naturally to them! Artificial Intelligence can only go so far. Humans would best be looking for work where it takes creativity and invention so they can't be replaced.
Times are predicted to get leaner and in preparation for Artificial Intelligence, companies are preparing for layoffs to keep more of their profits now. I always believe in being ready for what's coming and being in your own business, you are more in control of your destiny than working for someone else.
What about Cultural and Social changes? It is predicted that people will be spending more time on the Internet than watching TV. Already there is more intelligent content on the Net and people are zooming in on this. I have read articles quite awhile ago where people are shopping more online than they are in stores. So where do you want your business to be? Online, of course. I also have read that people are going to be looking after themselves more and caring for others.This is the perfect time to start your very own business with a reliable network marketing company that has products to do just that..
Who am I? I started networking 40 years ago just to stay home with my young children and to see what I was capable of building from my own home. Through taking courses and studying the industry, I have grown to so much more. Not that taking care of my children wasn't important. It was and I had the opportunity to be home to send my children off to school in the morning and be there when they got home. I attended their games in sports and was there when they need me. I was also the CEO and built a global business. I was also on companys' advisory boards and spoke at their international conventions. I have become a world traveler, often paid by the company as awards. In 2007, I remember sitting in The Plaza Hotel in New York City when my friend, and business associate, whispered that she heard that there was an economic crash coming. It was hard to believe because our businesses were booming. More and more people were coming on board with us to make extra money. We were at the right place at the right time.
