CA Wildfire & Forest Resilience Task Force’s Post

CAL FIRE's "One Less Spark" campaign informs Californians how everyday habits around vehicles and equipment can help prevent human-caused wildfires. A few simple precautions go a long way: - Mow before 10 a.m. and skip mowing on hot, dry, or windy days - Secure tow chains so they do not drag and spark on the road - Get a permit before burning debris and keep water nearby - Avoid parking on dry grass, where exhaust heat can ignite vegetation - Take care when welding, grinding, or using power tools near dry vegetation https://lnkd.in/g94rF8yn
