The Association of State Floodplain Managers, Inc. (ASFPM) 2026 conference brought together floodplain managers, engineers, planners, emergency managers, policy leaders, and resilience professionals to help communities better understand and reduce flood risk. Thank you to everyone who connected with our Tidal Basin and Michael Baker International colleagues in Milwaukee. Our team appreciated the opportunity to discuss flood mapping, mitigation planning, post-disaster recovery, building code administration, NFIP modernization, and the practical challenges of turning data into action.
