3PLs increasingly ask us about 'hybrid' carrier networks. Especially those who've grown through acquisition. They have dispersed operations. Each depot often has its own carrier network – which often has spare capacity that other depots need. The challenge is: other depots don't know the spare capacity exists, or how to find it. The TEG platform gives 3PLs a single view of their combined carrier network and its live availability. That lets depots fill existing capacity before sourcing externally. Fewer dead miles. Fewer external bills. It's carrier sourcing. For enterprise.

Can you build a network your customers trust and still not build a viable business? This week's Uswitch accreditation results suggest yes. Thirteen UK broadband providers were recognised for network quality this week. Several of them are simultaneously looking for an exit. We unpacked what that gap actually tells the infrastructure supply chain, what it means for procurement decisions in a consolidating market, and why the supply chain decisions made during the build phase follow an asset into every subsequent transaction. If you're planning to switch 3PLs or add a location before Q4, September is your deadline, not October. Every year we watch brands wait until the volume spike to make this call, and every year the brands who ran their RFP in August are the ones who aren't scrambling in November. Onboarding a new 3PL takes 4 to 8 weeks done right. Backwards from a September go-live, that means the first conversations need to start now. If you're not sure your current partner can handle peak, ask three questions this week: what's your peak-week throughput ceiling, what's your dock-to-stock time under volume, and what's your plan if a carrier misses a pickup. If they can't answer clearly, that's your answer. Slotted is the RFP platform that gives you the structure to run this process well: clear, comparable data from every provider you evaluate, so the decision is yours to make with confidence, not a guess. If you want to run an RFP for Q4 readiness, or a second look at your current setup, send us a message.

Score a 3PL on how it runs, not how big it is. Square footage and rate cards help tell you what a provider has. They don’t tell you how that provider performs when your product, your retailers, and your reputation are on the line. We built the RFP checklist we would want to receive. What to define before you write it, what to ask, and how to read the answers. If you are evaluating partners this year, here’s a great place to start. The telco market (as any other) is always moving: M&As among large players, joint ventures worth millions, or smaller acquisitions by larger groups. What does this mean for procurement teams? Short answer: prepare for change by factoring in a few things. ✅ Change-of-control clauses ✅ Service continuity language ✅ Termination rights tied to M&A events It's also worth asking your shortlisted ISPs about their financial backing and ownership structure before signing a 36-month commit. At GNX, we help customers navigate provider transitions in unfamiliar markets. At the end, what matters is that you get the services you asked for, regardless of what goes on in the boardroom (and we'll make sure that's the case). Drop me a message if you need guidance selecting your next ISPs. #Procurement #ITSourcing #VendorManagement

Switching 3PLs feels risky. It doesn't have to be. If you've ever thought "our 3PL isn't working, but switching sounds worse" you're not wrong to be cautious. A bad transition can mean missed SLAs and a very uncomfortable conversation with your biggest customer....or your boss! But that risk usually comes from switching without a real evaluation process, signing with the first provider that says yes, instead of the one that's actually matched to your volume, your SKUs, and your growth plans. One of our clients put it simply: we took the guesswork out of their search and helped them find a 3PL that could actually grow with them. Where were you guys 6 months ago! That's the difference vetting makes. We don't hand you a list of names, we do the needs analysis, vet the providers against your specific requirements, and walk you through contract negotiation so there are no surprises after you sign. Thinking about a change but wary of the disruption? That's exactly the problem we solve. #3PLSourcing #SupplyChainManagement #Fulfillment #WarehousingSolutions #LogisticsCanada Jeffrey Kennett Dave Da Camara 🇨🇦

KPI card: multi-vendor humanoid fleet governance. 1) Is your evidence format coupled to a specific model vendor or portable 2) Time and cost to onboard a second hardware/model provider into the existing compliance program 3) % of assurance envelopes that would survive a full vendor swap unchanged If (3) is low, you have a second lock-in problem hiding behind the first. https://lnkd.in/dtj4c7dn

Large-scale network deployments don't wait for slow supply chains. When one of our customers needed to scale an FTTX rollout across the UK, they needed a partner who could source specialist components globally, consolidate fragmented vendors, with direct-to-site deliveries. Swipe to see how we turned supply chain complexity into a competitive advantage 👇

There is a slide in almost every insurer's strategy deck that says something like "expand distribution to 20+ platforms by 2028." And there is a resource plan that says the technology team is committed through 2027. The gap between those two documents is where most distribution ambitions quietly die. Not because the strategy is wrong. Because the architecture cannot execute it. Distribution strategy lives in a slide deck. Distribution infrastructure lives in the platform. One describes what the carrier wants to do. The other determines what the carrier can do. The carriers Kanopi works with made this shift at different times. Some two years ago. Some six months ago. The ones who moved earlier are now adding partners in weeks. The ones still evaluating are still in the same resource queue they were in last year. The shift is not dramatic. It is architectural. And the cost of waiting is measured in partnerships that went to someone else.
