Third-Party Service Providers (TSPs) like SkyGrid are the digital backbone of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), delivering key decision support and surveillance services for new operations. But as a central system, this makes TSPs targets for cyber-physical threats. The NIST Cybersecurity Framework provides the most robust, adaptable model for TSP environments. The NIST CSF is not constrained to onboard systems, and it scales across architectures, hosting environments, and threat categories. ⬇️ Read more below and learn more in our cybersecurity white paper: https://lnkd.in/gbfpe7kd #SkyGrid #TSP #AAM #Cyber

Malicious cyber actors routinely target critical infrastructure to extort victims, conduct espionage, or pre-position access for disruptive attacks. Facing such threats, owners and operators should be able to isolate vital systems from other networks to contain incidents and keep critical services running. Read the new joint guidance from the #FBI, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and international partners for detailed actions to isolate operational technology (OT) and enabling systems: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/exyD6KNM This publication supports CISA’s “CI Fortify” initiative, which aims to strengthen resilience across critical infrastructure with proactive isolation and recovery planning.

Limiting Blast Radius in Federal Networks through Zero Trust Microsegmentation Perimeter-based security is no longer sufficient to protect sensitive federal networks from sophisticated cyber threats and lateral movement. At Delta3Tek LLC, we help government agencies implement granular microsegmentation strategies aligned with CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model guidelines. Our cybersecurity engineering team enables federal clients to: • Isolate mission-critical workloads and restrict east-west network traffic using identity-based policies. • Enforce continuous, dynamic access verification across multi-cloud and hybrid legacy infrastructures. • Minimize potential breach impact by containing unauthorized access at the application layer. Securing federal networks requires architecting every environment with the assumption of breach. Every organization would benefit from working with Andrew and the rest of our talented Strategic Advisory Group AgileBlue! They'll ensure you're set up for success in a volatile Cybersecurity world.
Cleveland-based AgileBlue is expanding its advisory services to help mid-market companies make smarter cybersecurity decisions. The firm is combining its AI-native security platform with hands-on expertise to help organizations cut through tool clutter, identify their most critical operational risks, and prepare for real-world threats through exercises like tabletop simulations. The focus: giving mid-market companies a clearer path to protecting the systems that matter most. ✅ The full OTN story >> https://lnkd.in/eGmjptiQ OhioX | Ohio Tech Events | Tony Pietrocola | Andrew Desender, CISSP, CEH

I had an opportunity to sit down with Ohio Tech News recently to talk about the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) at AgileBlue, how we help organizations make better security decisions, and some of my thoughts on the changing threat landscape as AI is becoming far more accessible to both attackers and defenders. We also discussed vulnerability prioritization, tabletop exercises, and how organizations may be focusing on tools over decisions. Thank you for the opportunity to discuss this with you, Ohio Tech News

DNS is finally getting the security attention it has always deserved. In this byline for SecurityInfoWatch.com, Infoblox CEO Scott Harrell explains why NIST SP 800-81r3 is a turning point for cyber resilience and why organizations need to recognize DNS as an active security control, not just network infrastructure. What stood out to me most is the practical roadmap: implement Protective DNS and DNS telemetry to improve threat detection and response, ensure DNS confidentiality through encryption to reduce data leakage and surveillance risk and benchmark DNS posture against the new NIST guidelines to address infrastructure and configuration gaps. I also like the reminder to make DNS security part of resilience planning, regulatory compliance and incident response strategy rather than treating it as background plumbing.
