Sitos Group’s Post

Advancing Commercial Biochar Production: A Sitos Treehouse Project Update‼️ Big progress is underway at the Sitos Treehouse plant as we continue scaling biochar production and push toward full commercial operations. For those who have followed our journey, the Sitos Group has grown from pilot-scale operations in Monterey County into the development of our commercial-scale facility, Sitos Treehouse Plant, in partnership with Treehouse California Almonds, LLC. While things may have felt quiet from the outside, our team has been anything but still. Behind the scenes, we’ve been heads-down building, testing, refining, and bringing this commercial-scale facility to life. We’re looking forward to sharing some updates with you! 🏗️ Over the last several months, we have: Built the foundation for commercial operations-  ✅ Broke ground on a commercial-scale production facility and established first-of-its-kind technology in the United States.  ✅ Built a team of highly skilled contractors and partners to design and develop the processing systems, infrastructure, and material management solutions required to transition from concept to commercial-scale operations.  ✅ Collaborated with international partners to solve operational challenges and bring cross-industry perspectives into innovation and plant development. Advanced our carbon removal and verification methods- ✅ Partnered with industry professionals including Valorize Systems and Isometric to ensure we have a verified, high-integrity carbon removal program, ready for deployment at the commencement of biochar production. Engaged with local stakeholders- ✅ Supported permitting agencies, regulators, and local stakeholders with information and technical expertise related to slow pyrolysis, biochar, biomass management, and carbon dioxide removal #CDR to further understanding and adoption of these technologies in the Central Valley. This is only the beginning. We’re looking forward to sharing more updates as the Sitos Treehouse Plant continues to come online and as biochar continues connecting the worlds of #agriculture and #climate technology. 📉 Want to follow our progress?  Join our mailing list for the latest project updates, key milestones, and future opportunities to engage with the work we’re building (https://lnkd.in/ggXQcgB6).

Great to see this progress coming together . Plenty of opportunity to apply your experience on projects waiting to happen !

Glad to see it, keep up the good work!

Congrats to the team on all of this progress! 🌿
