"How do we hire more people?" vs. "Do we have the right workforce strategy to support where our business is going?" The latter is the more important and strategic question that needs to be answered. Technology leaders today are balancing more than ever: modernization initiatives, cybersecurity priorities, cloud adoption, AI, project backlogs, and increasing expectations from the business. At the same time, finding and retaining specialized IT talent has never been more challenging. There are plenty of technical assessments available, but very few tools that help leaders evaluate the readiness of their IT workforce. That inspired our team to create the IT Workforce Readiness Assessment: https://lnkd.in/g6TYKDKm Our assessment is a complimentary executive assessment designed to help technology leaders benchmark their workforce strategy across workforce capacity, hiring efficiency, operational flexibility, workforce risk, and strategic alignment. The assessment takes about five minutes to complete and provides: ✅ A personalized IT Workforce Readiness Score ✅ Executive benchmark insights ✅ Practical recommendations based on your results Whether your organization is planning for growth, addressing staffing challenges, or simply looking for an objective way to evaluate your workforce strategy, I hope you'll find it valuable. #itworkforce #benchmark #workforcestrategy #myTSP

How are high-output tech teams actually getting built in 2026? Over the last 18 months, I've observed the main focus on organisations exploring AI pilots and speculative roadmaps. But as we head through the second half of 2026, the conversation has fundamentally shifted from hype to practical delivery and operational speed. The tech leaders making the fastest progress right now are restructuring their approach across three key pillars: 1️⃣ Solid Infrastructure First: Flashy automation tools fail without robust foundations. High-output teams are prioritising Cyber Security, Data Hygiene, and Cloud Reliability to ensure systems actually perform in production. 2️⃣ Agility & Execution Speed: Top AI and Tech talent want to see their solutions deployed, not stalled in committee loops. Organisations offering clear project ownership and streamlined decision-making are consistently winning the hiring race. 3️⃣ The Blended Talent Strategy: Moving fast requires a smart mix of capability: • Permanent Strategic Leads in Cloud, Security, and IT Management to protect institutional knowledge. • Targeted Interim Contractors for immediate project bursts, data remediation, and critical migrations. How is your organisation balancing core infrastructure with new technology execution this quarter? Let me have your thoughts in the comments below. 👇 #TechLeadership #AITalent #ITRecruitment #TechHires

After engaging with technology leaders across the U.S., I've observed a common theme: 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀; 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆. Conversations typically do not begin with: "We need another vendor. Instead, they often include: "We have too many priorities." "Hiring isn't keeping up with demand." "Our AI initiatives are moving slower than expected." "We're trying to modernize, but our teams are already stretched." This insight has led me to realize that technology is not always the primary challenge. Execution is. Whether dealing with 𝗔𝗜, 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, success frequently hinges on having the right people, the right approach, and the ability to act swiftly. Each conversation offers new lessons, which is one of the aspects I appreciate most about working in business development. I'm curious to know... 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿?

The skills gap in enterprise technology is not closing on its own. It requires deliberate investment. Workforce data continues to show a widening distance between the capabilities organizations need and the capabilities their teams currently hold. Cybersecurity, AI governance, cloud architecture, data analytics — demand is well established. Supply is not keeping pace. At CTS we believe the answer is not only hiring. It is developing. Organizations that invest in upskilling the people they already employ consistently outperform those relying solely on external recruitment, and the reasons are practical. Internal candidates already understand your systems, your customers, and your risk tolerance. You are adding capability to context that took years to build. Recruitment replaces headcount. Development compounds it. So here is the question worth putting to every technology leader: are you building the team you will need in 2030, or managing the team you inherited in 2020? Learn. Certify. Transform. #CTS #ProfessionalDevelopment #ITCertification #Training #WorkforceDevelopment #Upskilling #TechCareers
