Sometimes it takes a break to move forward. Here's how each sign does exactly that.
Sometimes the biggest career move is stepping away long enough to question assumptions that have quietly become routines.
Career breaks can create valuable space for learning and reflection. What advice would you give to professionals who are considering a career break but are concerned about how it may affect their career growth?
How a Taurus really does a career break from me a ♉ Okay, so you call it a "slow travel." Here's what it really looks like: Books a beautiful place in Italy for three months. Says they’re finally going to slow down. Spends week one finding the best coffee, wine, pasta, and chair with a view. Week two: “I’ve been thinking…” Week three: quietly builds a 47-page plan for what’s next. Refuses to rush any decision. Will absolutely not compromise on quality. Somehow returns rested, well-fed, slightly more stubborn, and with an entirely new career strategy. Because a Taurus doesn’t really stop working. They just need better scenery while deciding what’s worth working for. If you are a fellow Taurean, you get it. LinkedIn
Okay, but which sign actually takes a break without somehow turning it into a new project? 😂
Imagine doing this while still working? I think most are doable and will help during the transition.
Capricorn : "I need a break to plan the next phase of my career." ♑ Gemini : "Perfect, I'll start a podcast about it.” 😂 ♊
As entertaining as some might find this, it couldn't be more unprofessional and inappropriate. Randomly sorting people by birth date and generalizing about their personal traits with no cinsideration for any other factor is just like discriminating by age, sex, or national origin. How can you possibly justify presenting this nonsense as fact?
Great reminder sometimes the best way to move forward is to step back and rest isn't always the same for everyone
Missing the 13th sign: The ME who fills your position by 9:00 AM tomorrow. That’s a lot of words for 'unemployed'. Back to work. 🦈
LinkedIn There is something useful about a career break that is separate from what you accomplish during it. Stepping outside your usual role can show you how much of your identity, routine, and sense of responsibility have become tied to your work. The distance can help you decide what you want to return to, what you want to change, and what you no longer want your career to require of you.
