AI is already shaping how nonprofits operate. Not as a separate tool, but as part of the systems teams rely on every day. From engagement insights to smarter scheduling and financial visibility, AI helps organizations move faster and make better decisions. The next generation of nonprofits won't compete on mission alone. They'll compete on how effectively they use technology to advance it. According to the latest Nonprofit Tech for Good Report, only 14% of nonprofits have a written AI strategy, while just 2% are using Agentic AI. The opportunity isn't simply adopting AI. It's building a nonprofit that can do more with the same resources. Transforming grant management, donor engagement, reporting, and operations through intelligent automation could become a major competitive advantage in the years ahead. The nonprofits investing in digital transformation today may be the ones setting the standard for impact tomorrow. At Artic Consulting, we're helping nonprofits build smarter, connected operations with Microsoft-powered digital transformation, automation, data, and AI solutions. Is your organization preparing for the Agentic AI era? #NonprofitTechnology #DigitalTransformation #AgenticAI #NonprofitInnovation #MicrosoftCopilot #TechnologyForGood #GrantManagement #Fundraising #NonprofitGrowth

The conversation around AI is often framed as a technology discussion. For nonprofits, it’s really a capacity discussion. When fundraisers spend most of their time updating records, pulling reports, and managing workflows, donor relationships suffer. AI won’t replace your development team. It can help eliminate the administrative burden that keeps them from doing the work only humans can do: building trust, cultivating relationships, and securing support. The question isn’t whether nonprofits should adopt AI. The question is how much fundraising capacity is being lost by not doing so. #NonprofitLeadership #FundraisingStrategy #ArtificialIntelligence #CapacityBuilding #RevenueGrowth #DonorEngagement

Nonprofits, I counted 30 things AI could take off your plate. That was the gut-punch when I mapped it out. Not "AI is coming." AI is already useful for nearly every hat a nonprofit leader wears, and most of us are using it for one small corner and calling it a day. Look at the buckets. Fundraising. Operations. Marketing. Programs. Leadership. That's not a list of AI features. That's your actual job description. Every domain you're responsible for has three to six places AI could hand you hours back this week. Grant first drafts. Board meeting prep. Donor stewardship follow-ups. Turning one impact story into ten posts. Summarizing the 40-page report nobody has time to read. The problem was never whether AI could help. It's that nobody ever handed you the map. So here's the map. Save it. Then do the thing that actually works: pick ONE square. Just one. The task you dread most this week. Try AI on that single thing before Friday. Not all thirty. One. Thirty is how you freeze. One is how you start.🙏🏾 Which square would give you your afternoon back? #ExistToServe

Our nonprofit runs on five teammates. Not one of them is human. Meet the AI for Her ATX agent team: → NOVA — marketing: community posts for LinkedIn & Instagram → SAGE — research: healthcare-AI deep dives with infographics, twice a week → IRIS — AI advisor: free AI training picks and feature spotlights → ARIA — records: KPIs, meeting notes and archives, refreshed nightly → ATHENA — finance ops: budget, donation and grant tracking Every agent thinks with Anthropic's Claude — and the whole system was designed, built, and is orchestrated with Claude Fable 5 working alongside me in Claude Code. It writes the automation, draws the diagrams pictured here, and fact-checks every draft before anything ships. Humans still hold every officer seat and set the mission. The agents run the ops. That's the point: a nonprofit this small can operate this professionally — if you build AI-native. One mission. Five agents. 💗 🌐 www.aiforheratx.org #AgenticAI #WomenInAI #Nonprofit #AIForGood #ClaudeAI

AI is going to change fundraising. It already is. But here’s what I don’t believe: that AI will replace fundraisers. Because fundraising isn’t a transaction. It’s a relationship. AI can help you: - research and prepare faster - organize donor data and next steps - draft copy, recap meetings, and tighten your follow-up - spot patterns you might miss That’s all useful. But the “advantage” in fundraising has always been human: - trust - credibility - empathy - timing - listening for what isn’t being said - building a relationship strong enough to earn the right to ask And this is the part technology can’t do for you ……you still have to ask. Not someday. Not when it feels perfect. Not when the spreadsheet is done. You ask when the relationship and the mission are clear… and the donor is ready to be invited into impact. If you’re leading development right now, the question isn’t “Will AI replace us?” It’s: “How do we use AI to strengthen the human work so we can build relationships and get to the ask with more clarity and courage?” #fundraising #nonprofit #development #majorGifts #donorRelations #nonprofitLeadership #fundraisingstrategy #relationshipbuilding #artofasking #KobiaConsulting #Leadtheask #FearlessFundraisingStudio

Nonprofit staff member wants more training and tutorials on how to use AI. You requested. I shall deliver. Introducing the new Youtube series: Real Workflows. Every month or so I will be sharing real workflows you can use. In this first video, I am creating a meeting agenda for a Gala using Copilot, analyzing and editing the document with Copilot, and the drafting an email with the AI tool. A full workflow that your staff probably does many times a year or even a quarter. What tutorial should I do next??? https://lnkd.in/erCfgXeY #nonprofit #copilot #AI #Artificialintelligence #tutorial

At my work, we're turning off the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons in our AI tool, for the whole organization. Here is why. Before putting the tool in front of program and operations staff, I read the documentation in Claude on what happens to the things people type in. On the commercial plans, your inputs are not used to train the models. That is the stated default, and it is where some people stop reading. The rating buttons are the exception. If a staff member clicks thumbs up or thumbs down on a response, that exchange may be submitted for training, and feedback submissions are kept for five years instead of following the ordinary deletion timeline. Turning them off took about a minute, and it was easier than training forty people to avoid a button that sits beside every answer they get from Claude. A five-year window on a rating somebody chose to submit is a reasonable thing for a vendor to do, so this is not a complaint about the policy. It is an example of a detail that sits several clicks into the documentation, where somebody has to go looking for it. Tomorrow in my newsletter, AI for Nonprofits) I am publishing the full data policy we approved last Friday, the three buckets it uses, and the six other decisions that had to be settled before any of it could go to staff. Part two of four in the AI for Nonprofits series. Subscribe to catch it, link is in my profile. # NonprofitAI #NonprofitLeadership #ExecutiveDirector #NonprofitTech #AIGovernance

Stop treating positive impact like a donation. If your pricing, hiring, accessibility, vendor choices, or customer support quietly leaves people out, posting about a fundraiser won’t fix the operating decision causing it. Come on now, impact starts in the way your business works every day. Use AI for the next 30 minutes: 1. Pick one routine business decision. 2. Ask: “Who might this decision leave out, frustrate, or disadvantage? What assumption are we making?” 3. Paste the decision and AI’s response into a note. 4. Choose one change you can test this week. Stop saving prompts. Start using one to make a better business decision today. What decision are you checking first? Comment below. #AIForBusiness #SmallBusiness #BusinessWithPurpose #ExecuteWithAI

Agentic AI isn't about replacing finance teams, it's about helping them work more efficiently. During AAFCPAs' 2026 Nonprofit Seminar, Vassilis Kontoglis and Ryan Wolff, MBA discussed what agentic AI is, how it differs from traditional automation, and where it can support nonprofit finance teams while maintaining appropriate oversight. Watch the recorded session or read the five-minute session recap. >> https://lnkd.in/gWUtyrSt Questions?
