As Disability Pride Month continues, we’re reflecting on Sunday’s 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a landmark piece of legislation that protected civil rights and created more opportunities for millions of people with disabilities. At Asphalt Green, we believe recreation and sport should be places where everyone belongs. Through Everyone Plays inclusive youth sports and fitness programming, we intentionally design experiences that welcome children with a wide range of strengths, abilities, communication styles, and support needs. By meeting athletes where they are and adapting in the moment, we create an environment where every participant can challenge themselves, build confidence, form friendships, and experience the joy of movement together. The ADA transformed what’s possible.
