Bhuva Shakti’s Post

Talent is equally distributed. Opportunity is not. That idea stayed with me long after my conversation with Aaron Walker. Aaron Walker is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ruthless For Good Fund, but what struck me most wasn't his venture capital background. It was his journey. Before becoming an investor, Aaron was a teacher. And the more we spoke, the more I realized that teaching and investing share something in common: 🎯 Both require the ability to see potential before everyone else does. Aaron believes many exceptional founders are overlooked not because they lack talent, vision, or execution. They're overlooked because capital often follows familiar networks and familiar patterns. As a result, investors miss opportunities hiding in plain sight. We also discussed AI and the future of work. While much of today's conversation centers on automation, Aaron is focused on something different: How technology can expand access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity. Not replacing people. Helping more people thrive. My biggest takeaway from our discussion was a simple reminder: Hold on to the big vision. Just figure out the first step. Whether you're building a company, investing in one, or navigating your own career, that's advice worth remembering.
