About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Recruiter to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting responsibilities; you will serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, helping shape hiring strategies, influence decision-making, and deliver exceptional talent to support Gong’s rapid growth. You will be instrumental in identifying and attracting top-tier candidates for G&A functions, with a focus on supporting finance and other corporate departments. Your expertise in high-growth environments will enable you to manage complex searches efficiently, ensuring a seamless candidate experience while maintaining a high standard for talent acquisition. As a key member of our talent team, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business objectives. Your proactive approach, market insight, and data-driven decision-making will help Gong continue to scale successfully and sustain its innovative culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant support for G&A organizations, including finance (preferred)
• Proven track record of recruiting in high-growth companies where hiring priorities shift rapidly
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and influence hiring decisions through data, insight, and credibility
• Strong business acumen with the capacity to understand organizational priorities beyond job descriptions
• Exceptional execution skills with experience managing complex searches and delivering a superior candidate and hiring manager experience
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving alignment, and holding stakeholders accountable
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with a high sense of ownership and accountability
  
  

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with G&A leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into effective hiring strategies
• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process, utilizing data, market intelligence, and sound judgment to influence decisions
• Lead end-to-end searches from kickoff to offer, ensuring a high-quality, efficient candidate experience while maintaining a high talent bar
• Proactively identify potential risks, remove obstacles, and keep hiring teams aligned and accountable throughout the process
• Build and nurture strong relationships with executives, hiring managers, People Business Partners, Compensation, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies for niche and competitive talent markets, engaging passive candidates and building long-term pipelines
• Continuously improve recruiting processes, interview quality, and hiring outcomes through operational excellence and a bias for execution
• Represent Gong externally as an ambassador of our culture and values, promoting our employer brand
