Job Title: Quality Technician
Department: Quality
Position Description: Support position with primary responsibilities focused upon development, organization, and maintenance of the document control system and quality reporting system; and the coordination of sample submission activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Organize and maintain the document control system.
Coordinate the development of information supporting production part submission activities.
Coordinate facility calibration activities and maintain the supporting calibration database.
Support customer requirements.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist in development and implementation of supporting quality system documentation.
Assist in processing of Change Request and initiation of system updates and changes, as required.
Assist in development, organization, and maintenance of the quality reporting system.
Participate in quality system internal auditor activities.
Maintain the color chip file.
Perform and document Color Testing.
Provide backup, as needed, for Quality Administrator
Other Requirements
Associate’s degree or 2 years of quality experience.
Proficient use of personal computers and computer operation within a network environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
Ability to develop documents such as work and packaging instructions and general quality system docs.
Perform intermediate math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.
