Quality Manager

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Quality Manager search in the Cleveland, OH area.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and uphold the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure that customer specifications and regulatory requirements are met consistently.
• Facilitate both internal audits and external certification audits.
• Set quality benchmarks for precision-manufactured components and assemblies.
• Create inspection strategies for incoming materials, in-process checks, and final product verification.
• Drive initiatives aimed at minimizing scrap, defects, and variations in processes.
• Utilize quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), control plans, and process capability analysis.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a quality management position within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong background in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with managing or supporting ISO 9001 quality systems.
