Public Relations Account Coordinator

Diamond Public Relations Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area

Ready to start your career, work hard, learn a ton and leap frog into the travel and tourism public relations field? Then we’d love to meet you. We're looking for talented and innovative team members who are seeking more than a job, and rather, a long-term career in travel PR with opportunities for advancement, growth and professional development.

This is a hybrid position with in-person / in-office days in Miami, FL required. Please only respond if you can be available within two weeks of a job offer and are willing to be in office three days a week.

As an Account Coordinator you will be tasked with learning the ins and outs of the media and travel industry and starting to build lasting media relationships on a national and regional scale. Essentially the right-hand man and partner in crime to your account teams, you will work with account and division leaders to implement clients' PR plans with a creative and business-minded approach. We are looking for innovators, grammar police, organizers, design lovers, persuaders, and above all, excellent communicators. Are you up for the challenge?

While no two days are the same, you can expect to:

  • Research and develop curated media lists
  • Coordinate the logistics of in-market media events, press trips and media visits
  • Support the delivery of assets for brand and media promotions, as well as journalist queries
  • Learn the fundamentals of the hospitality and tourism industry
