The Project Manager is responsible for providing project management and engineering support for the planning, development, execution, and operation of projects. This role oversees project budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and overall project execution from initiation through completion.
Ensure business, technical, environmental, operational, financial, and scheduling objectives are achieved for assigned projects.
Coordinate activities between engineering, design, construction, operations, regulatory, environmental, right-of-way, finance, and commercial teams.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budget commitments.
Facilitate project review meetings and maintain communication among project teams, sponsors, operations personnel, and stakeholders.
Provide technical input and support during project planning and execution.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with contractors, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards.
Support organizational goals through effective resource planning, problem-solving, and project leadership.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the natural gas, energy, pipeline, engineering, construction, or related industry.
Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to pipeline and facility operations.
Understanding of DOT, FERC, environmental, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience managing natural gas transmission, pipeline, compression, or facility projects.
Knowledge of SCADA systems, pipeline simulation software, forecasting systems, and related operational technologies.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management training.
Experience leading capital improvement or infrastructure projects.
