Overview

A boutique general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Work includes higher education and healthcare environments with a mix of renovation and ground up projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and project financials
• Build and maintain strong client, architect, and consultant relationships
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to drive project success
• Identify and resolve project risks while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule goals are met

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, subcontract management, and project financials
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ideal Background

• Commercial, institutional, higher education, or healthcare construction
• Experience leading renovations and/or ground-up projects
• Strong preconstruction and client-facing experience
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and fast-paced project teams
