Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

The primary responsibility of a Production Supervisor in all aspects of daily production including ensuring proper headcount is allocated to each production line per plan, meeting or exceeding daily production goals, maintaining customer and consumable inventory, printing pallet labels and supporting line operations if short on headcount.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed targeted shift throughput goals while performing with the highest safety and quality standards
  • Oversee adequate Line staffing and training for Sojo standards, performance and safety
  • Oversee Line equipment performance and engage maintenance staff for immediate corrective action
  • Daily publication of a comprehensive Line Operations summary, including reasons for not achieving production plan and product quality variances
  • Verify accuracy of Quality Control checks conducted by shift leads
  • Responsible for accurate WMS activity by forklift drivers, line leads and shift leads, including all pallet information during the production process and post-production line clearance
  • Ensure scrap factors are accounted in WMS at the end of every shift
  • Support warehouse and yard operations, including inbound and outbound product processing, effective utilization of WMS, and efficient use of and maintenance of facilities and support equipment
  • Ensure clean operating environment
  • Coach / train personnel on safety, quality, and operations expectations
  • All other duties as assigned.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate production line teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for inventory tracking, pallet tagging, and scrap logging.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic line equipment issues and collaborate effectively with maintenance personnel.
  • Strong verbal and written skills for compiling end-of-shift operational reports and delivering safety/quality briefings.
  • Keen attention to detail to verify QC checks and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Willingness to jump in and perform line labor directly when headcount shortages occur.


Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete warehouse floors for the majority of a shift (8–12 hours).
  • Capability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs when assisting line operations or moving pallet/packaging materials.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, and climbing steps or stairs.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting with exposure to machinery noise, fluctuating temperatures, and active forklift traffic.
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
