Private Credit Secondaries Vice President / Principal

A leading middle market private investment firm is seeking a Vice President to join its Private Credit Secondaries investment platform. The role offers significant responsibility across the full investment lifecycle, working closely with senior investment professionals on complex credit and secondary transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and execute secondary investment opportunities across various transaction types
• Lead financial analysis, credit underwriting, valuation, and due diligence processes
• Support deal structuring, negotiation, and execution from initial review through close
• Monitor portfolio investments, including performance analysis and ongoing credit assessment
• Prepare investment committee materials and present findings to senior leadership
• Work closely with management teams, external advisors, and financing counterparties
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of investment best practices

Qualifications:

• 6-8+ years of relevant experience in private credit, direct lending, secondaries, leveraged finance, or investment banking
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
• Experience with complex capital structures and credit documentation
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree a plus
