Leadership Development Program | Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro
Are you a driven, purpose-oriented leader who wants to learn how to run a business from the ground up?
Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro is hiring for its Leadership Development Program, an immersive opportunity designed for emerging leaders who aspire to become Chick-fil-A Operators, pursue Chick-fil-A’s corporate Leadership Development Program, or eventually own a business of their own.
With two high-performing restaurant locations, approximately 300 team members, and a strong track record of developing future Operators and corporate leaders, Chick-fil-A Murfreesboro offers participants meaningful responsibility, structured coaching, and hands-on exposure to every area of the business.
What You'll Do
- Learn restaurant operations from the ground up.
- Progress through trainer, shift leader, and director-level leadership development.
- Lead teams and own measurable business results.
- Gain exposure to budgeting, human resources, marketing, payroll, hiring, and performance management.
- Complete quarterly stretch assignments alongside experienced business leaders.
- Receive monthly coaching from a certified leadership coach.
- Meet regularly with the Chick-fil-A Operator and senior leadership team.
- Build the leadership and business skills needed for future ownership and executive leadership opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Early-career professionals and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated leadership through work, athletics, student organizations, ministry, volunteer service, or community involvement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong desire to grow.
- Humble, hungry, and people-smart leadership style.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, highly operational restaurant environment.
- Strong communication, initiative, resilience, and relationship-building skills.
- Food service, hospitality, retail, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.
Participants should expect to work approximately 40-45 hours per week during the initial stages of the program, with the majority of the first six months spent actively learning and leading inside the restaurant.
This is not a traditional management training program. It is an opportunity to take ownership, lead people, produce results, and develop the skills required to operate a successful business.
If you're ready to invest in your leadership and build a foundation for long-term career growth, we'd love to connect with you.
