The company’s solutions are built to work seamlessly with Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, as well as LMS environments like Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard Ultra, and Moodle. Inkable Docs enables teams to identify accessibility barriers, apply AI-assisted fixes, and generate evidence for WCAG, Section 508, and PDF/UA review. The goal is to make document accessibility faster, easier, and more consistent while preserving the human judgment required for high-quality accessibility work.
Role Description The Instructional Technology Coordinator contract role is a remote position responsible for supporting the integration of Inkable Docs tools into teaching and learning workflows. This role includes collaborating with educators and administrators to design and refine technology-enhanced instructional materials that promote accessible learning experiences. The coordinator will create documentation, guides, and training resources, and may facilitate virtual workshops or webinars to help users adopt accessibility best practices. Day-to-day tasks involve working within common document and LMS platforms, troubleshooting implementation issues, collecting feedback from stakeholders, and coordinating with internal teams to improve product usability in educational settings.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design, with the ability to translate accessibility principles into practical learning materials.
  • Experience with Technology Integration and Educational Technology to support accessible teaching and learning workflows.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Blackboard Ultra, or Moodle.
  • Knowledge of document accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508, PDF/UA) and an interest in inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, including attention to detail and timely follow-through.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting educators or instructional teams in K–12, higher education, or organizational training settings is beneficial.
