Assistant Product Development Manager

Our client, an apparel wholesale company, is looking for an Assistant Product Development Manager to join their ladies and juniors sleep and lounge team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the product development for ladies and juniors sleep and lounge wear
• Attend seasonal design development meetings
• Coordinate and follow up with testing on new fabric developments
• Maintain and submit 3D fabric and trim libraries
• Manage print and color approvals
• Communicate and follow up with factories
• Organize, track, and update sample status
• Support in the initial sourcing and costing of all fabric and trim components
• Work with the technical design team for specs, patterns, and fittings
• Adhere to PD calendar and deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in fashion merchandising or other related degree preferred
• 4-5+ years of product development experience
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Chinese speaking is a huge plus
