    Our Tigard team recently boarded the Portland Spirit for a fun outing! They spent a beautiful afternoon cruising the Willamette River, sharing a delicious lunch, great conversation, and celebrating all that their dedicated team has accomplished together. The Portland Spirit crew even let some of the team take over steering the ship, including their fearless leader, Dr. Maghsoudlou. What an excellent way to celebrate your accomplishments!

    This past weekend we had the honor of marching in and participating in the Portland Pride Parade and Festival for the fifth year in a row! We had an incredible time celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Seeing all the love, unity, and community was truly inspiring and a great reminder as to why we're committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels seen and respected. Thank you to everyone who showed up and represented Willamette Dental with so much energy and pride, and thank you to those who visited our booth! Last but not least, a huge shout-out to our amazing team members who made our participation possible. Your dedication and efforts made this a meaningful and unforgettable experience for everyone involved!

    Each year our Community Contributions Program (CCP) committee holds the Annual Partnering for Success Scholarship where employee dependents can apply to be one of five $2,000 scholarship recipients!     We recently completed our annual 'Get Your Volunteer on' challenge, where teams compete to win $500 for their chosen charity. This year's winner is our member services team who held a diaper drive at our Hillsboro admin office for With Love. With Love is a non-profit organization that provides essential resources to children and families in need in our community! Thank you member services team for your hard work and dedication to give back to the community!

    Allies play an incredibly important role in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Showing up and creating an environment where marginalized individuals feel accepted, supported, and empowered to be themselves can make a significant impact in someone's life. We must stand together and use our voices to uplift and speak up for those who can't!     Sales representative, Kristy, had a great time at the IAM Local 261 Woodworkers Golf Tournament in Southern Oregon, and the WSCFF Washington State Council of Firefighters Conference in Kennewick, Washington this week! Captain Brian Johnson of West Pierce County Fire was the winner of our big raffle. Congratulations, Brian! We're proud to bring accessible and quality dental care to our community members and support our local unions!
