  • Throwback Thursday to a macro milestone for our eVinci™ microreactor! Earlier this year, we completed fabrication and assembly of the Limits Experiment of Advanced Heat Pipes – also known as LEAHP – the most advanced heat pipe test bed Westinghouse has ever constructed. In May, testing demonstrated 12-foot heat pipe performance at 800°C and achieved Westinghouse’s highest heat transfer to date – an important achievement for our eVinci™ microreactor technology. This one-of-a-kind platform puts heat pipe technology to the test, helping our teams study performance and operating limits under controlled conditions. The data generated will help validate models, support licensing, and advance the future of our heat pipe technology. • We told you it was coming — and now it's here! Westinghouse continues to invest in our customers and personnel by expanding our world-class training capabilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. For years, we've delivered our BWR reactor training at full depth from Chattanooga. Now, we're raising the bar as the new standard for PWR reactor training that builds upon the foundational expertise our trainees receive at our Waltz Mill Service Center in Pennsylvania. At Westinghouse Chattanooga, we train and qualify our personnel in both BWR and PWR fuel movement operations. Our full-depth core and spent fuel pool simulator delivers a training experience that's as close to real-world plant conditions as possible. The journey to a truly proficient and capable refuel team just became shorter and more reliable. Trainees gain hands-on experience in fuel handling, core maintenance, modifications, upgrades, and underwater operations. In addition to this expanded capability for our team and our customers, our facility enhancements also build valuable experience for IVVI and MRP-227 programs.
