The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has proposed a rule that could deeply impact newcomers, local businesses, and communities across the country. ⚠️ If finalized, the rule would heavily restrict or eliminate employment authorization for humanitarian parole recipients, deferred action recipients, and more. Without the ability to work, these families will struggle to afford basic necessities like food and rent—but you can make a difference.
