#SundayGratitude The Vegas Chamber President’s Club Reception on Thursday was rewarding with Sanje Sedera, Cara Clarke, Jeffrey Rands, MBA and other President Club members to network with. Our esteemed host Lori Nelson-Kraft Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix throws an amazing party with racing insights, food and cocktails. Shane Hamlett and the crew at the Chamber do an outstanding job of coordinating these events.

A big thank you to Art Goldberg for the invite and for getting me out to experience my first one. Earlier today, Vegas Chamber President’s Club members gathered for another Chairman’s Luncheon, featuring an engaging conversation with Patrick Lindsey, General Manager of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The discussion explored the Speedway’s impact on Southern Nevada’s sports, entertainment, tourism, and corporate business economy, as well as continued investment in its facilities. Lindsey shared updates on a newly renovated venue featuring an upgraded racing surface for more local racing and a new amphitheater configuration that creates additional opportunities for concerts and live events. The conversation also highlighted the Speedway’s year-round commitment to the community, including Speedway Children’s Charities, partnerships with local libraries, and efforts to create more family-friendly experiences. Thank you to Vegas Chamber Vice President of Membership & Revenue Jose Valle for welcoming our President’s Club members and Chairman Tyler Corder for helping lead today’s conversation. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and our Series Sponsors: The Abbi Agency, Aegis Learning, Lamar Advertising Company, NewGen Business Solutions | ConventionSuite: NetSuite ERP Consultants | Event Technology Specialists, and the Vegas Chamber Leadership Foundation. And thank you to Culinary Academy of Las Vegas for today’s catering.

The Vegas Chamber and Vegas Young Professionals luncheon with Councilwoman Kara J. Kelley yesterday was a great one! Councilwoman Kelley was the youngest CEO (at age 32!) and first female CEO of the Chamber and started VYP herself 20 years ago when she wanted an organization to foster the development of future leaders. As someone who worked in inpatient psychiatry, I love hearing people’s stories, so hearing her journey sprinkled with humility, humor, and the occasional F bomb (as I do the same🙃), was truly enjoyable. She made Caleb Green’s job as moderator quite easy! 😊

Business, networking, and a little friendly competition. What’s not to love? On June 9, our team, Richard "Rick" Kostopoulos, Brian Yost, and Dina C., had a fantastic time at the Vegas Chamber Business After Hours at F1® Arcade Las Vegas! From making new connections and catching up with familiar faces to jumping behind the wheel for some F1 racing, it was a great night filled with great conversations, good energy, and plenty of fun. 🏎️ 🏁 They also had the opportunity to meet Lori Nelson-Kraft, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, and connect with the Jeremy Walters, Community Engagement Director from the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. It was great to learn more about their work and the impact they’re making in the Las Vegas community. A big thank you to the Vegas Chamber for putting together such a fun and engaging evening! We’re looking forward to the next one. 🙌 #VegasChamber #LasVegas #F1Arcade #Formula1 #Networking #BusinessAfterHours #LasVegasBusiness #LasVegasCommunity #EventManagementSoftware #OracleNetSuite
