  • Building Stronger Agribusinesses Through the UPL Corp Mexico Client Academy   Across Mexico, family-owned agribusinesses face a critical challenge: without succession planning, strong governance, and professional management, even the most successful operations can be at risk.   That's why we partnered with National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) to launch the Client Academy—an educational program built on our OpenAg® approach and designed specifically for Mexican family-owned agribusinesses. The program focuses on succession planning, corporate governance, risk analysis, and operational efficiency. We don't just teach business skills—we foster partnerships and share expertise that help farming families strengthen their businesses, build resilience, and support the communities around them.   OpenAg® defines how we innovate, collaborate, and deliver—starting with farmers' needs, working openly with partners, and bringing practical solutions to market faster.   Lear more: https://lnkd.in/dBs3XB8i #UPLcorp #OpenAg #Reimagningsustainability UPL Corp LATAM

  • At UPL Corp, sustainability isn’t a standalone initiative—it’s how we grow.   And now, that belief is taking root in Spanish fields. 🌱   UPL Corp Iberia has launched the pilot phase of a carbon farming initiative in Spain, helping farmers generate carbon credits while improving profitability and advancing regenerative agriculture.   From research to real fields, we’re turning ideas into impact.   Over four years, our team has built a practical framework for regenerative agriculture—designed to create new value streams for farmers and make sustainability work in practice.   Recently, farmers, agronomists and distributors gathered at our OpenAg Research Station in Seville to see the trials firsthand, exchange insights and help shape the future of the project.   Our beliefs guide this work: innovation must solve real problems, partnerships accelerate impact, and farmers are central to change. • For years, farming has been seen as part of the climate problem. But on his maize fields in South Africa, Juan de Kock is working to change that narrative. Through the Carbon Smart programme, Juan has adopted regenerative practices that rebuild soil, capture carbon, and strengthen resilience — proving that productive farming and a healthier planet can go hand in hand. Because when farmers lead, climate action starts from the ground up. • Getting the Most from Winter Oils & Adjuvants   Strong pest management begins before the growing season does.   Winter oils play an important role in helping apple growers manage overwintering pests such as mites, scale insects, and aphids before populations increase. But successful applications depend on more than just timing.   Because these oils work through direct contact, achieving thorough and uniform coverage is essential. The right adjuvant system can help improve spray coverage, spreading, and penetration—supporting better reach into cracks, crevices, and other areas where pests shelter.   In our latest podcast episode brought to you by UPL Corp New Zealand team, Alex Easton, Regional Sales Manager, discusses why winter oils are needed, how they work, and what needs to be considered to get the most out of winter oils — with the support of adjuvants. Understanding these fundamentals can help growers build a stronger foundation for the crop cycle ahead. 🎧 Listen now :https://lnkd.in/dVcTssJp Learn more about UPL Corp: https://www.uplcorp.com/ #UPLcorp #Podcast #Adjuvants Alex Easton

  • Healthy soil is one of agriculture’s most powerful tools for capturing carbon. The Gigaton Carbon Goal – Row Crops Program in Argentina is turning this opportunity into action. Launched in 2021, the program now supports 10 producers across 3 provinces, covering approximately 10,400 hectares, with a focus on increasing soil organic carbon and advancing sustainable farm management. Recently at UPL Corp Argentina in Buenos Aires, we brought producers together with technical advisors from AAPPCE (Argentine Association for the Professional Protection of Extensive Crops) to review progress and share field experience. Through practices such as cover crops, biological inputs, field zoning, livestock integration, and continuous soil monitoring, farmers are improving soil health, enhancing water retention, and building more resilient production systems— creating the conditions that favor carbon sequestration and support climate mitigation. At UPL Corp, sustainability is embedded in how we grow. By combining science, innovation, and farmer partnerships, we help turn sustainability goals into measurable impact—creating environmental and economic value for growers. • Over five days, the UPL Corp Dominican Republic team travelled across six locations, connecting with farmers, distributors, and partners to demonstrate how NPP Biosolutions nature-based solutions can improve crop resilience, support soil health, and drive more sustainable performance.   Through hands-on discussions and field demonstrations, we showcased our bio stimulant portfolio—including Biozyme, Humiplex, K-Tionic, Raizal, Gainexa, Pilatus, and Foltron—and how these solutions help strengthen roots, improve nutrient uptake, and enhance the performance of rice and banana crops.   Every conversation reinforced what NPP Biosolutions stands for: combining decades of scientific expertise, global scale, and one of the world's broadest biosolutions portfolios to help farmers work with nature. From plant nutrition and soil health to crop resilience, we're delivering measurable results where they matter most—in the field.
