The speed of modern warfare is changing, but the fundamentals of command remain. Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) connects every echelon from Soldier to Corps, providing decision speed at an operational level. By eliminating disconnected legacy systems, we are dramatically increasing both lethality and survivability across the force. See how the Army is rapidly scaling this capability to outpace emerging threats ⤵️ https://lnkd.in/dmKY273H

  • "Hardware and networks alone don’t win wars. The lethality ultimately rests on the shoulders of the Soldier." – CSM Alexander Kupratty Command Sgt. Maj. Alexander Kupratty assumed responsibility as the second senior enlisted leader of the U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command (T2COM). He succeeded Command Sgt. Maj. Raymond Harris during a ceremony presided over by Lt. Gen. Brown on August 5th. The traditional passing of the command colors symbolized the transfer of responsibility for the standards, discipline, and readiness of the command's Soldiers and civilian professionals. Lt. Gen. Brown recognized Command Sgt. Maj. Harris for serving as a critical stabilizing force and maintaining organizational momentum during the initial activation of the Army's newest four-star command. Under his leadership, the command successfully established its initial structure while continuously delivering trained personnel to the operational force. Command Sgt. Maj. Kupratty now inherits the responsibility of sustaining this momentum as T2COM drives toward full operational capability. Utilizing his extensive operational and Department of the Army staff experience, he will focus on maintaining high standards, driving innovation, and ensuring the command delivers lethal, future-ready formations. #FromVisionToVictory

  • Today, the Capital Factory honored its founder, Joshua Baer, a pivotal partner whose tireless efforts to align commercial tech with the military's modernization needs played an instrumental role in securing Austin as the home of the U.S. Army Futures Command and now the U.S. Army Transformation and Training Command. During the recognition ceremony, Lt. Gen. Miles Brown captured Joshua's profound impact and his unique ability to unite these two worlds: "He bridged a cultural and institutional divide between commercial technology, startups, and the national security enterprise. And he was pivotal. In my mind, he was the single most important factor, the tipping point, as it were, to the Army coming to Austin... Josh was 'we want to work with you' embodied in a human being." His legacy of innovation, authentic partnership, and steadfast support for our soldiers will continue to shape the force for generations to come. #FromVisionToVictory #CapitalFactory #Innovation #NationalSecurity #ArmyModernization

  • Accelerating US Army training readiness starts with redefining how we build the tactical infrastructure of tomorrow. 🧱🤖 Fort Bliss leadership recently marked a major milestone in Department of War modernization, holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the first of 10 new 3D-printed transient training barracks. This project represents the largest deployment of robotic construction capabilities for the Department of War to date, showcasing how emerging technologies directly reshape military training infrastructure. Key Takeaways: Enhanced Efficiency: Built at 4x the speed of traditional construction methods printing all 10 structures in just 58 days. Fiscal Responsibility: Achieved a 9.3% cost savings compared to traditional military construction benchmarks. Mission Readiness: Each 5,772-sq-ft facility is fully Unified Facilities Criteria-compliant, providing energy-resilient, durable housing. In the immediate future, these barracks will house members of Task Force Bastogne training and serving with Joint Task Force - Southern Border in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard. As Maj. Gen. Curtis Taylor, Fort Bliss commanding general, noted: "This facility sends a clear and undeniable message to every Soldier who walks through its doors: We value you. We value your mission. And we value your sacrifice." #FromVisionToVictory

  • How do you build the next generation of autonomous swarm engineers for national security? You start them young and give them the hardware to succeed. 🚁 The U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (ARL) recently partnered with UC Berkeley and Berkeley Drone Technologies for the inaugural Multi-Drone Optimization Challenge (M-DOC) at the Richmond Field Station. Funded by the Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP), this event challenged high school and college students to master the complete engineering lifecycle of unmanned aerial vehicles. Key highlights from the challenge include: ☑️ Assembling and programming drones from preassigned kits. ☑️ Developing and deploying autonomous swarm software for zone mapping. ☑️ Analyzing the operational and economic trade-offs of multi-drone systems versus single-drone flights. This initiative is a critical step in meeting the Defense Hackathon Act requirements and serves as a vital pipeline for bringing the nation's brightest minds into defense research fellowships! #FromVisionToVictory

  • Andrew Barisser, an AI machine-learning engineer, directly commissioned as a major into the U.S. Army Reserve. Maj. Barisser spent years building a career in software engineering and artificial intelligence in the private tech sector, developing exactly the kind of deep technical expertise the U.S. Army's modernization efforts are looking for right now. Maj Barisser entered through the U.S. Army's Direct Commission Program (DCP), which grants constructive service credit for relevant civilian experience so qualified professionals can commission at a rank aligned with their seniority. The Direct Commission Program is built for this reason: The U.S. Army wants specialized talent, and DCP is one of the most direct ways to bring it in without asking experienced professionals to restart their careers from scratch. Maj. Barisser's commissioning ceremony reflects exactly that intent, recognizing years of private sector expertise and putting it to work for the force. “I don’t believe responsibility belongs to someone else. I believe it belongs to all of us, ordinary people who choose to become active participants in preserving our society.” - Maj. Barisser. Learn more: army.mil/dcp #FromVisionToVictory
