You'd never stay in a relationship with a guy who forgets your anniversary, your siblings' names and favorite food... So why put up with contextless AI that does the same? ClickUp's Brain² is different. It knows your work. It knows you. And it finally puts an end to brainless, contextless AI. This was one of the first projects Sam Mackay and I at Artificial had the honor of being a part of. Zeb Evans, Chris Cunningham, Mark Sommerville and Wyatt Kedinger, appreciate you trusting us on this one. 'Twas a pleasure working on something that challenges the biggest foundational LLMs.

Shipaton by RevenueCatCat, the world's biggest mobile hackathon is back! Two months to ship, $1,000,000+ in prizes, winning apps on a Times Square billboard 🔥! Paddle is a proud sponsor (again!), and I'm looking forward to seeing the creativity and hustle on full display. Last year I was a judge, and it was fascination to see up close what and how people were building. A massive variety of backgrounds, target audiences, business cases, and approaches. This year, our very own Ben Aronsten is judging, and he was in Tokyo for the Shipaton Kick-off. And we will both be in NYC for the winner announcements. If you have been thinking about building an app... STOP! STOP thinking. Open Claude or Replit or Rork or your terminal... and START shipping. Love your work here Hendrik and team!

$1,000,000+ in prizes. Winning apps on a Times Square billboard. Two months to ship. SHIPATON, the world's biggest mobile hackathon by RevenueCat, is BACK! I first learned about RevenueCat from Andrew Davies last year, while Shipaton 2025 was taking place. It was so epic: the world's biggest mobile hackathon (50,000 contestants!), huge cash prizes, and they even put the winners' apps on a Times Square billboard. I thought to myself, I'd love to work with these guys someday! So you can assume how quickly we said yes when Radu Vladislav & Cameron McAllister reached out and asked Sam Mackay & I to create a trailer for it 🤠 Anyway... Shipaton is back! It's even bigger and better this year, so head to shipaton dot com and apply!

I was today years old when I realized running video as thought leader ads is the cheapest and most effective way to build retargeting audiences on LinkedIn. I'm literally in shock. Here's the backstory. I've mostly run my TLAs as images. They work great, building retargeting audiences at around $1.5 per person. Then yesterday I was scrolling LinkedIn and ran into a post from the great AJ Wilcox describing this exact process. I didn't think much of it at first. But later that afternoon I spun up a separate video TLA campaign. Half for fun, half to test the hypothesis. Mostly because I finally had video creative I knew would engage people. Oh boy. It did not disappoint. Less than $0.5 per person entering our retargeting layer. That's 3x cheaper than my image TLAs. The two videos are currently pulling: → ~6.5% CTR → 65% view rate → ~5% completion rate (one is 60 seconds long, so I'll happily take it) For the record, I still run regular image and video ads too. But those are more for mental availability than building the most efficient retargeting audience. This little test just changed how I think about the retargeting layer entirely.

42 minutes of me defending one thesis: "it's not AI slop, it's human slop" From Monkey Business Talk Show with an amazing setting: - Maja Perović Baines & Vladan Ubiparip as hosts - taking place at SaaStanak by the Adriatic coast - right before the party hosted by Paddle Inside, you'll find me rambling about: - blaming AI when we really should be blaming humans - the inevitable Law of Shitty Clickthrough Rates - how AI is allowing more of us to be Rick Rubin - how Sam Mackay and I approach B2B brand commercials - signing Artificial's 1st clients via cold DMs (50 sends > 3 clients) Full episode 👇 Thanks for having me folks!

I wanted to know the thinking behind really well-done AI videos made for ClickUp and Fibbler. So we sat down with the one and only Ognjen Bošković, we talked about the creative piece behind the AI video production and how and why B2B companies should embrace the opportunity. Marketeers, this one is for us. Join me, Vladan Ubiparip, and Ognjen in this lovely discussion on AI slop and why humor is a big challenge for B2B brands. The new episode of the Monkey Business Talk Show is now available. 🎙️

Well... the 'Slap Back!' ad launch went according to plan: Fibbler reached $1M ARR, Artificial generated $375,000 in pipe! 1) First of all, congrats Adams (Adam Holmgren & Adam Hartsner) for the $1M ARR milestone)! Keep rocking! 2) Second, thank you Adam for trusting us with this one. Pretty rare in B2B to get full creative freedom, ever more rare to be as bold. 3) Finally, not trying to take all the credit lol! Fibbler was pretty close already, ad surely helped a bit, but if you know anything about marketing & buying, you don't need me to tell you that the good stuff is yet to come! 4) I got 29 (I counted) 'make us an ad?' DMs. My hypothesis is turning out to be correct: B2B is not against doing bold, creative marketing - there's just two major bottlenecks: 1) traditional price point is too high for most ($50,000-$1M), 2) most commercials just suck. We solve both. 5) We're hiring! June & July were already booked out even before the ad, August & September are filling up fast. Capacity is already a constraint, and while that's a good problem, it's still a problem: video editors and motion designers, hit us up! 6) We have some epic clients + commercials lined up. Will try to resist the urge to share more for now 7) Last but not least, shoutout to the best co-founder & creative director ever, good 'ol Sammy. You rock! 🖤 PS. We'll rest when we retire lol PS. Adam, hope you don't mind us messing with your photo, I just figured Fibbs deserves to be in it too 🤠
