  • Say hello to Isabella Stefanek, Client & Recruiting Coordinator! Welcome to Larko! We’re so glad you’re here. Want to get to know Izzy a little better? Keep reading! Growing up in Mount Prospect, Illinois, Izzy has always called the Chicagoland area home. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and quickly discovered that helping people was exactly where she wanted to build her career. She got her start in Human Resources as a People Shared Services Representative, supporting the employee experience and onboarding for a technology company. It didn't take long to realize that recruiting was the perfect fit. Building relationships, getting to know candidates, and helping people find opportunities they can truly get excited about is what energizes her most. Joining Larko felt like a natural next step, offering the chance to learn from an experienced team while being part of a collaborative, people-first culture. Outside of the office you'll likely find Izzy planning her next adventure. She's already visited 21 countries and is always looking for the next stamp in her passport. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, weightlifting, catching live concerts, playing video games, and hanging out with her tuxedo cat, Sadie. #larko #womenowned #recruitmentandstaffing #welcometolarko

Where did the summer go? ☀️ This time of year brings so many emotions; excitement, pride, a little bit of nostalgia, and maybe even a few tears. For those sending a child off to college, it’s a milestone that feels both like a beginning and an ending. The backpacks, first-day photos, and dorm room drop-offs represent so much more than a new school year, they represent independence, possibility, and a future full of opportunity. It’s a reminder that growth happens when we step into the unknown, embrace new experiences, and continue learning along the way. As we watch the next generation begin their journeys, it’s worth asking ourselves: How do we keep that same sense of curiosity and excitement alive in our own lives and careers? Here’s to new beginnings, bold steps forward, and making changes that keep us feeling challenged and happy. Cheers to new chapters and achieving dreams! #larko #womenownedbusiness #recruitmentandstaffing

Don’t let opportunities pass you by because they don’t look exactly how you imagined. We’ve seen it happen many times. Candidates pass on a conversation because the title isn’t quite right, the commute is a little longer than they’d hoped, or the job description wasn’t exactly what they expected. The best career moves and the best hires often start with a conversation, not a perfect fit on paper. You don’t have to say yes to every opportunity. But don’t say no before you’ve learned enough to make an informed decision. That one conversation could lead to the role or the future you didn’t even know you were looking for. Don’t let opportunities pass you by simply because they arrived in a different package than you expected! #larko #recruitmentandstaffing #womenownedbusiness

  • Fantastic opportunity! Contact Kate Beam for more details! #larko #womenowned #recruitmentandstaffing

  • Take the conversation. We spend so much of our careers talking about taking the conversation…reaching out, networking, making the connection that could lead to the next opportunity. Today, look at it from a different perspective. Reach out to a recent graduate who’s trying to find their first break. Connect with someone who’s been job searching longer than they expected. You may not have a job to offer. That’s okay. A conversation. A piece of advice. An introduction. A few words of encouragement. Those small gestures can change someone’s entire outlook. The job market can feel overwhelming, but kindness, generosity, and good people still exist. Be one of them. Put good vibes out into the world. You never know where they’ll come back to you. #larko #womenownedbusiness #recruitmentandstaffing

Happy 8th Anniversary to our Co-CEO, Amy Larko Falanga! Read her thoughts and join us in celebrating eight incredible years of leadership, growth, and impact. 🎉 💫 I’m so excited to celebrate another year of growth and change at Larko! After spending time on maternity leave, I've returned with a new perspective…not just as a leader, but as a mom juggling two little ones, a career I love and a team that means the world to me. Leadership and parenting have more in common than I ever imagined! Neither is about having all the answers. Both require trust, patience, flexibility, and the willingness to let others grow. Stepping away reminded me that strong teams don't thrive because someone is right there to guide them; they thrive because people feel empowered, supported, and trusted to lead in their own way. As I step into another year at Larko, I'm challenging myself to lead a little differently. • Give my team freedom to grow in a way that feels best for them. • Focus on coaching and building new skills. • Make room for new ideas and different perspectives. • Give myself and others grace on the days when balancing work, family and life feels less than perfect. One of the greatest gifts of this past year has been realizing that leadership isn't about doing it all; it's about building a team that can do great things together. I'm incredibly grateful to my Co-CEO, Andrea Newman, our team, and my family for supporting me through this season. I'm excited about what's ahead and for the opportunity to keep growing alongside such an amazing group of people. I'm proud to be part of a women-owned company that continues to grow, embrace change, and expand our reach without losing sight of the relationships and values that got us here. Here's to continuing to build something we're all proud of…together! #Larko #womenownedbusiness #recruitmentandstaffing #happyanniversary

  • Are you waiting too long to make the right hiring decision? One of the biggest misconceptions in hiring is that more time leads to better decisions, but it often leads to no decision at all. We've seen companies interview multiple candidates, hoping the perfect person will walk through the door. Meanwhile, the strongest candidates have already accepted other opportunities. The truth is that great hiring isn't about finding someone who checks every box. It's about recognizing potential, making thoughtful decisions, and knowing when you've found the right fit. The longer a position stays open, the greater the impact: • Teams take on extra work. • Productivity slows. • Top candidates lose interest. • Momentum is lost. At some point, waiting becomes more costly than hiring. The best hiring managers aren't the ones who move fastest. They're the ones who know when it's time to stop searching and start building. What's the biggest reason you hesitate to make a hiring decision? #larko #womenowned #recruitmentandstaffing #hiringdecisions
