The Okefenokee Swamp has made history! The Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge has officially been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s the first in Georgia, the first-ever for a U.S. National Wildlife Refuge, and the first natural World Heritage site designated in the United States in 30 years. We’re proud to have played a part in protecting critical lands around this incredible landscape and are celebrating this well-deserved recognition for the Okefenokee. https://lnkd.in/gbbcr9iQ

Meet the Arctic. In Alaska’s far north, wildlife depends on a connected world of sea ice, tundra, rivers, and coastlines. Polar bears, walrus, caribou, bearded seals, Arctic char, and millions of migratory birds rely on these places to survive, migrate, and raise their young. It’s one of the last wild systems of its kind on Earth. And it’s changing. https://lnkd.in/e95RtXK4
