Legendary Food, Legendary Service®

About us

It all began on February 17, 1993, when after years of dreaming, planning, and hard, hard work, Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent’s goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price. We’ve got the great meal part down. In fact, we like to consider our food more than great. We think its Legendary. Hand-Cut Steaks, award-winning Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Fresh-Baked Bread, and Made-From-Scratch Sides are the standard at Texas Roadhouse. We're more than just a steakhouse. We're a family restaurant. And, we believe our family is every member of every community that has a Texas Roadhouse. We love being a part of our communities, which is why you're likely to see our Roadies and Andy the Armadillo out and about! Our legendary benefits include: medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, short and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid vacation, stock incentive program, tuition reimbursement and best of all…GROWTH! We love our workplace, and we love what we do. It’s that love that shows up each and every night to engage, entertain, and excite our guests. And it’s why we’re so happy to invite you to bring your friends and family in for a great meal and a good time! We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, gender, gender identity, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, citizenship, national origin, or any other legally-protected status. We encourage and welcome applicants of all ages to apply.

Last week, I wrapped up my 10-week summer internship program at the Texas Roadhouse Support Center. Throughout my time at TXRH, I had the opportunity to rotate throughout three different departments: Training, Procurement, and Marketing. Within each rotation, I was able to work on hands-on projects as well as gain new perspectives on how each department supports the restaurant operations. Outside of my rotations, I got to work alongside my fellow interns on a final presentation which gave us an opportunity to come together and take what we had learned on our own to apply it to our group project. We presented to Support Center leadership and it was very rewarding to share with others everything we had learned. As I reflect on my experience this summer, I am feeling incredibly grateful for not only learning many professional skills, but also meeting so many supportive people. Thank you to the Roadie family for putting in so much time and effort into developing the internship program and helping us grow. It was an unforgettable summer! Big thank you to my fellow interns for playing a huge part in my personal development, I couldn’t have done it without you all. Jackson Campisano, Ethan Barnett, Jackson Rue, Sophia Ogden, Courtney Sandy, and Andrew Hollinger!

Jerry Morgan is keeping Texas Roadhouse focused on the fundamentals while most of the industry chases increasingly complex ways to drive traffic. Q2 same-store sales rose 6.2 percent, or 12 percent on a two-year stack. Average weekly sales hit a brand-record $177,252, and traffic is up 7 percent over two years. Outside of COVID, the chain hasn’t reported a negative quarter since Barack Obama was a year into his presidency. 🥩 The formula hasn’t changed: made-from-scratch food, fresh-baked bread, hand-cut steaks, and high-level hospitality. No national TV campaign—just local-store marketing and managing partners who stay visible in their communities. “The trust that our guests show our restaurants on the most important dining occasions is one of our competitive advantages,” Morgan said. “This trust is earned and something we will not take for granted.” Ninety percent of Texas Roadhouse restaurants set daily sales records on Mother’s Day or Father’s Day this year. Consistency still gives guests a reason to come back—and a reason to tell someone else. Read more ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/gchejUGb

  • A Roadie in the making!

One of the best things about working at Texas Roadhouse is seeing my son become a roadie in real time. When we celebrate big wins? He chooses to eat at Roadhouse. When I just don’t feel like cooking? He chooses to eat at Roadhouse. Anytime he passes the Roadhouse we live by? He’s asking if we can eat at Roadhouse (even if it is 8am) Today, he’s learning line dances and how he likes his steak cooked. In 10 years, he may be looking to get his first job there. In 20 years, he may be the MP! Celebrate every win. Dance, even when you may not have rhythm and start each day with joy. #ToRaiseARoadie #LivingLegendary

  • Congratulations on a legendary achievement, Marlene!

🤠 Legendary Food, Legendary Service. I'm incredibly grateful to have been recognized by Texas Roadhouse in Yuma, Arizona with a Service with Heart pin after receiving a 5-star guest review. While I'm thankful for the recognition, what means the most to me is the lesson behind it. This experience reminded me that great service goes beyond simply completing a task—it's about listening carefully, following through on your promises, and treating every guest with genuine care and respect. Working in the service industry has strengthened some of my most valuable professional skills, especially communication, empathy, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact, and knowing that a guest left feeling valued is the greatest reward of all. I'm thankful for the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and serving others every day. ❤️ #ServiceWithHeart #GuestExperience #PeopleFirst #Leadership #CommunicationSkills #Teamwork #TexasRoadhouse
